The Role:


As our Reservations Agent , you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our guests, turning enquiries into bookings and ensuring their journey with us begins smoothly. From managing reservations in our property management system to responding quickly to guest queries, your focus will be on delivering warm, accurate, and efficient service every time. You’ll also liaise with other hotel departments, ensuring information is seamless and our guest experience exceeds expectations.

What You Bring


  • Customer service ethic – a friendly, professional manner and genuine care for guests
  • Experience in reservations or front office within hotels or hospitality, with strong knowledge of booking systems (PMS) and reservation processes
  • Communication skills – confident across phone, email, and in-person; multilingual ability is a plus
  • Problem-solving ability – quick thinking, accuracy in decision-making, and the initiative to resolve guest issues
  • Technical and organisational skills – computer literacy, multitasking, and accuracy in data entry, invoicing, and pre-payments
  • Teamwork and flexibility – able to work closely with multiple departments, adapt to varying workloads, and maintain composure under pressure
  • Personal presentation – polished, professional, and aligned with brand standards
  • A proactive approach to learning, accountability, and a willingness to go the extra mile when required


This is a part-time role, offers min 20 hours per week (+/- 40 rostered hours during high season). Pay rate is $27 – $28 per hour. You must have valid working rights for New Zealand.
