Job Description

Are you an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with a passion for driving large-scale transformation? We’re looking for a skilled professional to join a high-performing team and play a critical role in delivering innovative SAP solutions as part of a major retail transformation programme for an initial 12m fixed term contract.


The Role


In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, delivering, and optimising SAP solutions across multiple functional areas, with a focus on in-store activities. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful rollout of solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Partnering with business stakeholders to provide SAP expertise across supply chain, retail solutions, POS systems, middleware integration (CAR), and customer-facing solutions.
  • Managing the design and delivery of robust end-to-end SAP solutions while ensuring quality and performance.
  • Supporting training sessions and presentations to enable smooth adoption of new systems.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.


What We’re Looking For


We’re seeking someone who can hit the ground running in this specialised role. While we don’t expect candidates to meet every requirement, here’s what we value most:


  • Experience: 3–5 years in retail or related industries, with exposure to large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP systems, including POS integration, CAR (Customer Activity Repository), middleware solutions, and SAP Cloud Rise. Knowledge of SAP BTP (CPI, OPP, OPPS) and Fiori platforms is advantageous.
  • Independence & Initiative: A self-starter who can take ownership of tasks and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Calm Under Pressure: The ability to remain composed and solution-focused when faced with challenges or setbacks.
