About the role


We’re looking for a Quality Associate to join our Regulatory & Quality Affairs team. It’s a broad, hands-on role at the centre of our Quality Management System (QMS): you’ll support the wider QMS with scope to grow into new areas over time. It’s a brilliant fit for a detail-driven person who loves variety, wants to build a career in quality, and enjoys developing efficient and effective processes. You’ll report to, and be supported by, our Quality Manager.


What you’ll do


  • Own our document and record control, training and competency, non-product software, and customer feedback processes.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the electronic QMS (eQMS), including a project to migrate to a new eQMS vendor.
  • Support our change control, CAPA, nonconformances and audit actions, and Quality Review and Management Review processes, among other QMS activities.
  • Support staff across Alimetry to build Quality competencies and maintain compliance.
  • Champion our Culture of Quality across the business.


What you’ll bring


  • Exceptional attention to detail and a real commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and manage your time.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
  • Solid IT skills (MS Office, Google Workspace and AI tools such as Claude and Gemini), and the aptitude to quickly learn QMS software.
  • A bachelor’s degree in science or another technical field.
  • Curiosity, drive, and the motivation to grow into broader quality responsibilities.


Nice to Haves (but not essential)


  • Experience in Quality within a regulated industry (medical device, pharma or similar).
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as ISO 13485 / QMSR, and QMS principles.
  • Experience in a start-up or scale-up, comfortable wearing multiple hats.
