About the role

Care on Call (NZ) Limited is looking for a Registered Nurse to join its Christchurch based clinical team. You’ll work across a variety of settings, providing clinical reviews and assessments, training, nursing interventions and vaccinations.


Duties

  • Assess clients, including completing single discipline and interRAI assessments.
  • Review long term and complex clients and develop service plans.
  • Provide nursing interventions, including wound care and vaccinations.
  • Respond to acute events.
  • Support funding and case management.


Skills and experience

  • Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
  • At least three years’ nursing experience in New Zealand, with well rounded nursing experience.
  • Experience in home based, facility or DHB environments; community experience, particularly in home-based services or the disability sector, is valued.
  • Confident working autonomously, with strong assessment skills and attention to detail.
  • Competent computer skills.
