At Westpac, our partnerships and sponsorships play an important role in how we connect with customers, support communities, and bring our brand to life. We're looking for a Marketing Manager - Partnerships & Sponsorships to lead and evolve this portfolio, identifying opportunities that create meaningful value for our customers, communities, and business.


Working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, you'll manage partnerships from strategy and negotiation through to activation and performance measurement. You'll help create engaging experiences, tell compelling stories, and ensure our sponsorship investments deliver lasting impact.


This is a role for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, thinking strategically, and making things happen. You'll have the opportunity to shape partnerships that matter, while working with passionate teams across the bank to bring ideas to life.


As part of the role, you'll regularly connect with partners and stakeholders across New Zealand, with regular domestic travel and occasional overnight stays required.

  • Proven experience in sponsorships, partnerships, marketing, and brand..
  • A track record of delivering successful partnership programmes and activations from concept through to execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, contracts, and external partners.
  • An understanding of how partnerships can build brand affinity, create meaningful customer experiences, and deliver community impact.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to measure results, uncover insights, and continuously improve performance.
  • Confidence building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and navigating complex environments.
