About the Role


As our Sous Chef , you'll be second-in-command in a busy, high-performing kitchen, working closely with the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional food across our restaurant, conferences, events and functions.


You'll lead by example, motivate your team, maintain high culinary standards, and ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding dining experience.


You'll Be Responsible For


  • Leading daily kitchen operations and À La Carte service
  • Supporting menu planning and creating fresh, exciting seasonal dishes
  • Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing junior chefs
  • Managing stock control, ordering and kitchen costs
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety standards are maintained
  • Supporting conference, banquet and function catering
  • Helping drive innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the kitchen


What You'll Bring


We're looking for someone who loves hospitality just as much as they love food.

You'll have:


  • At least 5 years' experience in a commercial kitchen, including time in a senior or leadership position
  • Proven experience leading a busy kitchen service
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A passion for creating exceptional food and memorable guest experiences
  • Experience with conference, function or large-scale catering (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • The flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
