We’re now looking for a talented Night Shift Chef de Partie to join our passionate team and help craft unforgettable dining experiences, contributing to our “A Thousand Ways of Happiness” promise.

Our purpose is simple: Your best time and place – right here, right now . It’s what drives us to deliver exceptional moments for every guest. • Ensure every plate meets our presentation and quality standards.
  • Complete food preparation to support the wider kitchen team for the following day.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen throughout your shift.
  • Uphold food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards.
  • Keep an eye on stock levels, wastage, cost control, and sustainability practices.
  • Work closely with the wider kitchen and hotel night teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

What we're looking for:

  • A trained and qualified Chef with previous Chef de Partie or similar experience.
  • Previous hotel or high-volume kitchen experience would be highly regarded.
  • You’re comfortable working overnight and can operate confidently with minimal supervision.
  • You thrive under pressure, take initiative, and lead with integrity.
  • You genuinely care about quality and consistency (and it shows in your food).
  • A strong food production background and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • A calm, collaborative approach, particularly when unexpected requests come through overnight.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards.
  • Flexibility to work shifts depending on business needs.

Why join us?

  • Opportunities to grow within our national and international portfolio.
  • A supportive and inclusive kitchen culture.
  • Great staff benefits such as staff meals on duty, F&B and accommodation discounts, uniform, and laundry services.
  • The opportunity to work within a dynamic, multi-kitchen hotel environment.
  • Permanent part-time employment with a minimum of 16 hours per week .
  • An hourly rate of $28–$32 , depending on experience.
  • Overnight shifts are 10pm–6am .
