Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established organisation in the digital infrastructure sector to recruit an IT Director who will lead the internal technology function and play a key role in supporting the business's continued growth.This is a broad leadership role with responsibility across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, business systems, technology projects, vendor management and team leadership.


Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll ensure technology remains secure, reliable and fit for purpose, while identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall business performance.


About the Role


You'll be responsible for:


  • Leading the organisation's IT strategy and technology roadmap
  • Managing infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks and end-user technology
  • Driving cybersecurity, risk management and compliance initiatives
  • Overseeing business applications and technology projects
  • Managing technology budgets, vendors and key supplier relationships
  • Supporting data, automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Leading and developing a high-performing technology team
  • Working with business leaders to ensure technology supports operational and commercial objectives


What We're Looking For


We're interested in speaking with technology leaders who combine strong technical foundations with excellent stakeholder management skills.


Ideally you'll bring:


  • Experience leading an IT function or significant technology team
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and enterprise applications
  • Experience delivering technology projects and driving business improvement initiatives
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business requirements into technology outcomes
  • Vendor, budgeting and commercial management experience
  • A collaborative leadership style and passion for developing teams


Experience within critical infrastructure, telecommunications, data centres or other always-on operational environments would be highly regarded.
