The Role


As Branch Manager, you will:


  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
  • Drive business growth through innovative strategies and meaningful community engagement.
  • Provide professional investment advice to clients, building long-term relationships based on trust and exceptional service.
  • Develop and execute a branch marketing and sponsorship plan to enhance the firm’s presence in the local community.
  • Partner with the Regional Head to support recruitment, business development, and the implementation of regional initiatives.


This hybrid role offers the chance to shape both team success and client outcomes while contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellence.


Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Branch Management:


  • Promote a healthy, high-performing team culture.
  • Communicate key business priorities effectively to ensure alignment within the branch.
  • Oversee branch operations, including expense approvals and IPO allocations.
  • Support Adviser Assistants with workforce planning, performance management, and development.


Client Advisory:


  • Deliver personalised investment advice that places clients’ interests first.
  • Build enduring relationships with clients by understanding their goals and aspirations.
  • Grow the branch’s client base through referrals, professional networks, and holistic advisory services.


Professional Excellence:


  • Maintain technical expertise in investment markets, products, legislation, and financial advice practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations as a financial adviser.
  • Uphold the firm’s values of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in every interaction.

  • NZX accreditation (or willingness to complete required training).
