Job Description

Join a growing, stable, NZ-owned and operated business as a Senior Machine Operator on an FMCG production line, helping produce food products dispatched nationwide.


  • 2 permanent positions available with a growing, stable, NZ-owned and operated business
  • Day or Night Shift rosters available, including weekend work, alongside a long-standing, supportive team
  • Night shift allowance (after 6 pm) plus paid overtime at time and a half


Two Rosters Available


  • Day shift + weekends: 12-hour shifts, 2 on/1 off – 7:00am - 3:15 pm
  • Night shift + weekends: 12-hour shifts, 2 on/1 off – 11:15pm to 7:15am

About the Role


We're looking for an experienced, proactive Senior Machine Operator to join the production team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You'll operate machinery and oversee the production process from start to finish, helping create a product enjoyed by people across the country.


  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot issues and support the maintenance team with mechanical problems
  • Carry out quality checks on finished goods, including weight, volume, and product imperfections


About You


Attitude matters most. If you're hands-on, take initiative, and work well in a team, you'll thrive here. You'll bring solid experience operating machinery, ideally within an FMCG environment.


  • Proven experience operating machinery (FMCG background preferred)
  • Experience with a VFFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) machine and a multihead weigher
  • A positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to pitch in and get the job done — no task too big or small
