Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑focused Housekeeping Supervisor to join our friendly team at Millennium Hotel Queenstown . This is a unique, part‑time supervisory role designed to offer work-life balance, with short, consistent shifts and training provided.


What makes this role different?


  • Around 4 hours per day (max of 20 hours per week)
  • Focused on room checking, quality control, and sign-off
  • No full housekeeping workload - only light touch-ups if required

Key responsibilities:


  • Checking guest rooms to ensure hotel standards are met
  • Signing off rooms and releasing them to Front Office
  • Providing feedback and guidance to the housekeeping team
  • Making minor adjustments to rooms when needed (not full cleans)
  • Supporting quality standards through strong attention to detail
  • Working closely with Housekeeping leadership and Front Office


We’re looking for someone who is:


  • Reliable, trustworthy, and life‑experienced
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional
  • Flexible and adaptable to daily operational needs
  • A NZ Citizen/Resident


Some relevant housekeeping or hotel experience would be helpful, and a background in housekeeping supervision would be ideal, however, training will be provided, and the right attitude is essential.
