The Role:


We are looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure every room reflects our commitment to quality, comfort, and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will set the tone for excellence — from presentation standards to team culture — making every stay memorable for our guests.


You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring the department runs efficiently, safely, and to brand standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional room standards
  • Oversee daily operations, including room allocations and productivity
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and presentation across all areas
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to support performance and growth
  • Manage stock control and assist with regular stock takes
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Prepare and manage rosters to meet operational needs
  • Support payroll processes and departmental administration
  • Conduct quality checks and performance reviews

What you bring:


  • Previous housekeeping leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence in managing rosters, stock, and daily operations
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work weekends and public holidays
  • Professional communication skills and a positive attitude


This is a part-time role offering 30 hours per week, working Wednesday to Sunday.
