Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Project Manager with banking experience to drive the end-to-end delivery of critical integration projects for Cards and Unsecured Lending.This is your chance to work at the forefront of API modernisation, leading cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers to deliver seamless enterprise interfaces that power exceptional customer experiences.

💡 In this role you will focus on:

✅ Leading a new project from inception for the Cards and Unsecured Lending integration from discovery through delivery.

✅ Own end-to-end planning and management of third-party vendors, including build, testing, deployment, knowledge transfer, and consumer migration.

✅ Manage vendor deliverables, scope, acceptance criteria, and technology governance.

✅ Oversee risk and issue management, track critical paths, and report variances with recovery options to steering committees.

✅ Ensure successful transition of services into BAU while achieving project outcomes.

🛠️ Experience you will bring to this role:

  • Proven experience in banking integration or API modernisation delivery within large complex organisations.
  • Expertise in Cards or Unsecured Lending systems and processes.
  • Advanced Jira planning/reporting skills with credible forecasting and critical path management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including confident executive-level communication.
  • Experience managing budgets, Statements of Work (SoW), change requests, and milestone acceptance.
  • Familiarity with integration testing, release readiness, and operational transitions.

🎓 Preferred Skills

✨ Knowledge of API modernisation is a must.

✨ PRINCE2, PMP certification or equivalent project management qualifications.
