He angitūtanga | The opportunity


As a Chef de Partie at DVML Forsyth Barr Stadium , you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food while ensuring exceptional food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards. You'll play an important role in delivering outstanding culinary experiences across a variety of events and functions. This is a permanent position with 30 hours guaranteed per week.


Ko o kawenga | Your responsibilities


  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality food in line with menu and service requirements.
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, stock rotation, and food storage standards.
  • Assist with menu development, including catering for special dietary and cultural requirements.
  • Support ordering processes, stock control, and waste minimisation initiatives.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are consistently maintained.


He kōrero mōu | About you


  • NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery (or equivalent) with previous experience in a similar culinary role.
  • Passion for producing high-quality food and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, hardworking, physically fit, and committed to continuous improvement.
