Carpenter

Looking for your next carpentry role in Wanaka? Tradestaff has a strong pipeline of quality construction work and is looking for an experienced Carpenter to get stuck in. You’ll work across residential projects, with further opportunities on upcoming commercial builds.


Location: Wanaka, Queenstown Lakes

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $34-40+ per hour


  • What you’ll be doingFraming, cladding, first and second fix carpentry
  • Finishing and general carpentry across residential builds
  • Reading plans and working accurately to specifications
  • Working across different stages of construction
  • Getting involved in upcoming commercial projects
  • Working independently and alongside other trades on site
  • What we’re looking forBCITO Level 4 Carpentry qualification
  • Proven residential construction experience
  • Commercial experience is an advantage
  • Your own carpentry tools
  • Reliable transport
  • Strong workmanship and good site awareness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
