Mad Campers is looking for a Mechanic to help maintain our Christchurch campervan fleet. You'll enjoy plenty of variety while making sure our vehicles are ready for travellers to get out and explore Aotearoa.


What you'll be doing:


  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing our campervan fleet
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults
  • Completing vehicle checks and inspections
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance, upgrades and modifications
  • Keeping accurate servicing and repair records
  • Supporting the Fleet Manager with day-to-day workshop priorities
  • Keeping the workshop clean, organised and running smoothly


About you


You'll have mechanical knowledge, a great eye for detail who takes pride in keeping vehicles safe, reliable and road-ready. You'll be happy to get stuck in and enjoys keeping things moving.


You'll ideally bring:


  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Strong fault-finding, servicing and repair skills
  • A safety-first approach and pride in your workmanship
  • Good organisation and time management
  • A positive, adaptable and team-focused attitude


This is a permanent position of at least 40 hours per week, rostered Tuesday to Saturday. Availability during our peak season from October to March is essential.
