About the role


We are seeking a dynamic Resident Experience Manager to help continue to shape our vibrant, welcoming Orion Point Village, based in Hobsonville. This is a village where our residents feel connected, supported, and truly at home.


This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Primarily this role is responsible for coordinating and managing engaging social events for our residents and supporting residents through key life transitions, building a strong sense of belonging across the village.


This is a Monday – Friday position – 8:30 – 4pm (35 hours per week)


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver events, outings, and experiences that create a thriving community atmosphere.
  • Foster resident wellbeing, inclusion, and connection across all areas of village life.
  • Coordinate onboarding initiatives including welcome experiences, introductions, and buddy programmes.
  • Manage village communications, newsletters, digital platforms, and resident engagement tools.
  • Support residents to access wellness and assisted living services while maintaining independence and dignity.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, local community groups, and service providers.
  • Champion a resident-first culture and help bring the unique “village vibe” to life every day.


About you:


We are seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic person, who has excellent planning and coordination skills. Along with your passion for people, you are digitally savvy and have:


  • Experience in events, customer experience, hospitality, community engagement, or a similar people-focused role.
  • Highly organised, and confident building relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Love creating memorable and meaningful connections.
