Job Description

Trade Assist are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to carry out local parcel deliveries around Tauranga.


This is a great opportunity to join a good company, with opportunities to grow your driving career into Class 4 or Class 5.


The Role:


  • Monday – Saturday, 5:00am – 1:00pm
  • Driving an automatic Class 2 truck for local metro deliveries around Tauranga
  • Loading and unloading freight
  • Manual handling, heavy lifting and trolley unloading
  • Using a tablet/scanning system for deliveries

To be successful you will need:


  • Full Class 2 Licence
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience
  • Pallet Jack experience advantageous, but not essential
  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good communication and customer service skills
