About the role


As a Caregiver, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our tamariki. Working alongside our passionate teaching team, you'll support children's daily routines, learning experiences, and wellbeing while helping our centre run smoothly.


Day-to-day, you will:


  • Provide quality care and support for our tamariki
  • Build positive relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues
  • Support learning experiences and centre activities
  • Assist across rooms and cover staff breaks as needed
  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre


This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


Role requirements


While an ECE qualification is not required, experience working with children under five is essential. You'll bring a genuine love for working with young children, a positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
