Carpenter

Tradestaff is looking for a qualified Carpenter to work across residential and commercial projects in Taupō. If you’re an experienced all-rounder who takes pride in quality workmanship and can confidently tackle different stages of a build, we want to hear from you.


Location: Taupō

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour + weekly pay


  • What You’ll Be DoingComplete residential and commercial carpentry
  • Carry out framing and structural building work
  • Complete fit-outs, finishing and installation tasks
  • Read and work accurately from plans and specifications
  • Measure, cut and install building materials
  • Complete alterations and general carpentry as required
  • Work alongside other trades to maintain quality and project progress
  • What We’re Looking ForRelevant carpentry qualification
  • Proven residential and commercial construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of building methods and materials
  • Confidence reading plans and working to specifications
  • High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
  • Strong understanding of construction-site health and safety
