Civil Engineer, Northland, $85,000 - $120,000 + Benefits

Based in the Northland Region, this role will see you involved in the delivery of land development and subdivision projects from concept through to construction.


You will work closely with clients, councils, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver practical and high-quality engineering solutions.

The Role

  • Lead and deliver civil design packages across land development and subdivision projects
  • Design and model 3 Waters infrastructure, roading, and earthworks solutions
  • Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and supporting documentation
  • Support resource consent and council approval processes
  • Collaborate with surveyors, planners, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities throughout project delivery
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' civil engineering experience within New Zealand
  • Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and/or 12d
  • Experience across land development, 3 Waters, roading, and infrastructure projects
  • Good understanding of NZ standards, Austroads guidelines and council requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Open to relocating to the Northland region
