About the role


We're looking for a laundry assistant to work in our commercial laundry business based in Ellerslie, servicing multiple retirement village care homes around Auckland and the Waikato.


This is a 5.5 month FIXED TERM , full-time position from 5 th October 2026 to 28 th February 2027, working a roster 40 hours per week (Monday to Sunday), across 2 shifts as follows, so flexibility is essential:


Morning Shift Start:  4:30am -12noon

Second Shifts Start: 9am - 5:30pm


Some of the great things you will be doing:


  • Working in the laundry sorting incoming laundry, loading machines, pressing garments to folding clean linen and packing linen for delivery.
  • Cleaning and tidying of laundry
  • Working as part of a team


About you


You will have some experience working in a commercial laundry environment or similar, and be physically fit, be flexible with your availability and enjoy interacting with a variety of different people.
