Experienced Diesel Mechanic? Looking for variety, a supportive team and a role where your skills are genuinely valued?


Central Group is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Rolleston branch in Christchurch.


You will work on a varied range of material handling and construction equipment, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs both in the workshop and at customer sites.


This is a permanent, full-time role with a minimum of 40 hours per week.


What you'll bring:


  • Relevant trade qualification or 5+ years' industry experience
  • Strong mechanical servicing, repair and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A reliable, practical and positive attitude
  • Commitment to completing jobs to a high standard
  • Class 4 driver licence advantageous
