Remarkable People is looking for a motivated, reliable and hands-on Road Maintenance Operator / Class 2 Driver to join a leading civil infrastructure company in Hamilton .


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty and wants to develop practical skills in an essential industry.


Whether you've already got some civil experience or you're looking for an opportunity to put your Class 2 licence to good use, we want to hear from you!


What's in it for you?


  • $26 per hour , with additional payments for on-call duties.
  • Extra on-call payments: 1 hour's pay for weekday on-call duties and 2 hours' pay for weekend on-call duties.

What we're looking for


  • Full, clean Class 2 driver's licence – essential.
  • Based in Hamilton or the surrounding area , with reliable transport and the ability to get to work on time.
  • A keen attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts, on-call rosters and occasional weekends.
  • Previous civil, roading or maintenance experience is an advantage, but a great attitude is just as important.
  • A strong focus on health and safety.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) criminal history check.
  • Available to start ASAP.
