  • Great opportunity for an exp. Fabricator or an eager learner

Are you an experienced Aluminium Fabricator or Glazier looking for your next opportunity? Or are you practically minded, keen to learn a trade, and ready to build your skills with a supportive team?

Dunstan Glass 2000 Ltd is looking for a reliable, motivated person to join our team in Central Otago. We work with aluminium joinery and glazing, and we're keen to hear from both experienced tradespeople and enthusiastic applicants who are willing to learn.

About the role

You'll be involved in the fabrication, assembly and glazing of aluminium windows and doors, along with a variety of workshop and on-site work.

Your work may include:

  • Fabricating and assembling aluminium windows and doors.
  • Glazing aluminium, steel and timber joinery.
  • Carrying out glazing and maintenance work in the workshop and on-site.
  • Working alongside a small team to deliver quality workmanship.
  • Helping keep the workshop running smoothly and safely.

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll have experience in aluminium fabrication and/or glazing, but we're happy to consider someone who's keen to learn and develop their skills.

You'll need to demonstrate:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliability, honesty and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to work well as part of a small team.
  • A commitment to producing quality work and looking after customers.

Experience assembling aluminium windows and doors or working with glass is an advantage, but a great attitude and willingness to learn also count.

What's in it for you?:

  • Full-time, permanent employment with consistent weekday hours.
  • Monday to Friday, 8.00 am - 5.00 pm.
  • Competitive pay based on your experience, skills and ability.
  • The opportunity to develop your trade skills and gain hands-on experience.
  • A varied role combining workshop and on-site work.
  • The chance to become part of a friendly, close-knit team.

If you're experienced in aluminium fabrication or glazing, or simply have the right attitude and want to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
