Building Wash Services (BWS) is looking for a reliable, hardworking Building Wash Technician to join our Auckland team.


This isn't your average cleaning job! You'll be working on commercial buildings across Auckland, operating cherry picker trucks, elevated work platforms and powerful commercial waterblasting equipment.


We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work, is confident working at heights and takes pride in doing a job properly. Previous building washing experience would be great, but we're also interested in people with transferable skills from construction, trades or other hands-on outdoor roles.

What will you be doing?:


  • Commercial building washing and exterior cleaning
  • Operating high-pressure waterblasters and specialist equipment
  • Working from cherry pickers and elevated work platforms
  • Setting up, operating and maintaining equipment safely
  • Following site safety procedures and delivering quality results


What we're looking for:


  • Previous experience working at heights - essential
  • Experience in building washing, waterblasting or a similar hands-on role
  • Confidence operating machinery and physically demanding equipment
  • Good physical fitness and a willingness to work outdoors
  • A reliable, hardworking attitude and strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to work well as part of a team


Experience operating EWPs, driving manual vehicles or holding Working at Heights, EWP or Site Safe qualifications would be an advantage.


A few important things to know:


This is an early-start role, normally beginning at 6:15am, with earlier starts regularly required. You'll generally work Monday to Friday, plus one weekend day per month, with additional overtime available.


Successful applicants must pass a Ministry of Justice/Police check, pre-employment drug testing and ongoing random drug testing.


Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand or eligible to obtain the appropriate work visa.
