Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 4 HIAB Truck Driver to join a busy and well-established operation based in West Auckland.

  • $32.00 - $36.00/ph, depending on experience, Plus 8% holiday pay
  • 40+ hours, Day shft, Monday to Friday
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential in a supportive team

The Role

This position will see you operating a Class 4 HIAB truck, completing deliveries throughout Auckland while ensuring all loads and equipment are handled safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining high safety standards, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.


Your duties will include:

  • Operating a Class 4 HIAB truck
  • Completing deliveries across Auckland
  • Loading and unloading products safely using the HIAB
  • Completing daily pre-start vehicle and equipment checks
  • Ensuring all loads are correctly secured before transport
  • Working safely around customers, sites, and other vehicles
  • Completing delivery documentation accurately
  • Providing professional service when dealing with customers
  • Keeping your truck and equipment clean and well maintained
  • Following all company and site Health & Safety procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Current Class 4 NZ Driver Licence
  • Current HIAB ticket/certification
  • Previous experience operating a HIAB truck
  • Strong understanding of safe loading and load restraint
  • A strong focus on safe and responsible operation
  • Good knowledge of the Auckland region
  • Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily deliveries
  • Ability to pass all required pre-employment checks
