Intermediate or Senior Surveyor  (ideally Licensed or working towards)

Tauranga

$90,000 - $130,000 + Benefits + Flexible Working + Reduced Work Week


Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in the Bay of Plenty and the central North Island.


Due to continued growth and demand they are looking to add an Intermediate or Senior Surveyor to their Tauranga team to work across a variety of land development projects across the Bay of Plenty in collaboration with the wider survey team, engineers and planners.

The Role


  • Provide survey inputs to land development or projects to the required standards of technical excellence, client satisfaction, and in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Mentor Survey Team members to help them develop their knowledge and skills. Review, develop and maintain appropriate survey processes within the survey team.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff.
  • Build and maintain strong client, local authority and contractor relationships.


About You


  • Degree in Surveying.
  • Senior Surveyor (ideally Licensed Cadastral Surveyor but not essential)
  • Member of Survey and Spatial New Zealand, or ability to become a member.
  • Significant experience in a similar role in NZ.
  • Leadership of projects and staff on land development projects.
