Landscaper


We’re looking for an experienced Landscaper to join the team for ongoing grounds and property maintenance work across Dunedin. This is a hands-on, physical outdoor role suited to someone with proven experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, farming, orchard work, horticulture, or a similar environment. You’ll need to be confident using outdoor equipment and comfortable working in all weather conditions.


Location: Dunedin Central, Dunedin

Start date: Immediate start available

Pay rate: $26–$30 per hour, paid weekly


You’ll be responsible for:


  • Mowing, edging, weeding, raking, and planting
  • Operating mowers, line trimmers, and other outdoor equipment
  • Pruning, trimming, and general garden maintenance
  • Power washing, bin clearing, and de-icing when required
  • Using hand and power tools for property upkeep
  • Assisting with minor maintenance tasks
  • Carrying out grounds maintenance across a variety of Dunedin worksites


To be successful in this role, you’ll need:


  • Previous landscaping, grounds maintenance, farming, orchard, horticulture, or similar hands-on outdoor experience
  • Practical experience operating mowers and line trimmers and completing general grounds work
  • A minimum Class 1 NZ driver licence, as you may be required to drive company vehicles
  • Good physical fitness, with the ability to manage plenty of walking, lifting, and manual work
  • Confidence working outdoors in a range of weather conditions
  • Reliability, a strong work ethic, and good attention to detail
