Job Description

THE GIG:


RB Recruitment have partnered with a large Canterbury/Christchurch based Civil company, who is looking for worker that hold a Class 2 licence with the ability to carry out labouring duties.


As this role is working in a small team, reliability is expected in all applicants, as is the willingness to labour and help out where required. You will be working as a roading patrol officer carrying out basic maintenance of the roads. Including pothole filling, cleaning debris, and management of traffic.


This position offers consistent hours, Monday to Friday generally 7am-5/530pm, although Fridays at times will be early starts and early finishes.


Ideally we would want the right candidate to be located in the Hornby, Rolleston and Selwyn District.



THE GOODS:


  • Competitve Pay Scale - Weekly Pay ($27-30 based on experience)
  • Consistent hours with the opportunity to go permanent (40 - 50 hours per week)
  • Friendly, skilled and supportive small knit team
  • Training provided
  • Immediate start available


YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:


  • Full Class 2 driver's licence
  • Injury-Free and capable of doing labouring-based work
  • Current WTR endorsements would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Strong safety and quality focus
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Have full working rights to work in New Zealand (No sponsorship available)
