THE GIG:


Industry leaders in their field with an international platform, our client is an environmental services company currently going from strength to strength in their operations throughout Australia and New Zealand. Their multi-skilled, professional team champion safety, sustainability, and solutions with an innovative approach when it comes to environmental challenges. They have a strong track record of success and are currently growing rapidly – now is the time to jump onboard!

We are looking for an experienced and Certified Drain Layer to join this Whangārei based crew where you will use your drainage experience and relevant qualifications. You will be installing, renewing, and replacing drainage systems, storm water systems and clearing equipment. You will accurately excavate, lay/repair and backfill for a variety of underground utilities for a range of clients and contracts. Being a team player is an absolute must in this tight-knit crew, as well as a heightened focus on safety and getting the job done right the first time.

This opportunity is available immediately, however we are happy to wait a notice period for the right person. Would suit some that have gone on their own, but don't want to do all the niggly parts of the admin. You're still rewarded and looked after just the same monetarily, just no stress!

THE IDEAL PERSON:


  • Relevant drain laying qualification - and at least a couple years’ experience using it
  • Leadership qualities and experience
  • Physically fit and not afraid of a solid day’s mahi
  • Full understanding of Health & Safety
  • Minimum Full NZ Class 1 Licence and WTR endorsements
  • Experience in unblocking drains, pipe bursting and PE welding
  • Real team player
