About the role


We are looking for a Caregiver to join our stunning Care Home, Metlifecare St. Andrew's in Cambridge. Reporting to the Assistant Care Manager, you'll be working under the direction of our Registered Nurses providing high standards of care and support to our residents.


27.5 hours a week - Shifts as follows: Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm


Duties

  • Provide resident directed care and support our residents with activities of daily living.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and choice.
  • Contributes to and demonstrates knowledge and use of resident directed Care Plans.
  • Provide support for the family.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Health and Wellbeing certificate preferred.
  • Excellent attitude and demonstrate self-motivation and proactiveness.
  • Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Empathy and kindness to make a difference in our residents' lives.
