Unite Recruit is on the hunt for CIVIL MACHINE OPERATORS to work on a up-coming project in the Gisborne region. Apply today!

  • $30 to $38 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Pays weekly
  • Long-term project & Ongoing work

Unite Recruit is hiring CIVIL MACHINE OPERATORS who have proven experience in operating machinery in and around drainage, earthworks, and/or road construction. Pay rate varies depending on experience, and machine.

  • Excavators
  • Bulldozers
  • Loaders
  • Rollers
  • Graders
  • Dump trucks

Successful applicants will have:

  • A current New Zealand Class 1, 2, 4, or 5 Driver Licence (depending on machinery and transport requirements)
  • WTR Endorsements
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating civil construction machinery
  • Experience in drainage, earthworks, or road construction preferred
  • Experienced using Gps systems
  • Final trim or Bulk experience
  • Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and time management skills

  • Your own reliable transport to get to and from work
