BestStart Silverdale is seeking a passionate, energetic and caring Caregiver to join our team in our over 2's space. This is a permanent fulltime role working 40 hours per week.

About the Role:


We’re looking for an enthusiastic Caregiver to join our team, supporting tamariki aged 2-5 years as they discover their independence, build relationships and develop new skills. You’ll help create a fun, nurturing environment where children feel confident to explore and learn.


Role requirements:


  • Has a genuine passion for working with tamariki and supporting their development
  • Is bubbly, energetic and nurturing
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Is reliable, flexible and willing to learn
  • Has experience with children aged 2–3 years, or a strong desire to develop their skills
  • Is interested in ongoing learning and professional development
