About the role: We are seeking a fabulous Caregiver to join our team at Whangarei Park Village. Our Care Home offers Rest home, hospital and dementia level care. Under the direction of our Registered Nurses, you will provide essential personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

The role is a FIXED TERM role till 6th May 2027 to cover a staff member's parental leave.

31.5 hours a week - PM shifts over 5 days from Friday to Tuesday. Please apply if you are available to do the full fixed term and can work on both days of the weekend.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively with Nurses and Carestaff to make a difference in the lives of Residents
  • Providing care that is specific for the Resident and is holistic in nature
  • Ensuring safety and wellbeing of self, Residents and colleagues

About you

Attitude is key here. We are looking for an experienced Caregiver, who love their job as a vocation and who are flexible in terms of availability.  You will be part of a growing organisation, which strives daily to deliver the best care available to our residents.

  • Previous experience in aged care and a desire to learn and develop your skill set
  • Careerforce or an equivalent healthcare qualification
  • Empathy, kindness and a love for making an impact on our residents' lives
  • Bright, breezy attitude and a "can-do" focus
