We are looking for Ford trained technicians to join multiple leading dealerships across NZ.


The opportunity

An established Ford dealership is looking for experienced technicians with Ford Diagnostic or Master Technician training to join its professional workshop team.


You'll be working in a modern, well-equipped facility with the backing of an experienced Service Manager who values teamwork, efficiency, and quality workmanship.


This is an opportunity to put your technical expertise to good use while continuing to develop your skills within a franchise environment.


The role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing Ford passenger vehicles
  • Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carrying out major mechanical repairs to a high standard
  • Working on used and trade-in vehicles when required
  • Ensuring all work meets franchise standards and quality expectations
  • Supporting and sharing your knowledge with less experienced technicians

Skills sought

To be considered for these opportunities, you will ideally have:

  • Ford franchise training at Diagnostic or Master Technician level
  • A recognised automotive trade qualification
  • Strong experience in passenger vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to confidently undertake major mechanical work
  • A willingness to guide and mentor junior team members
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Sound computer skills and the ability to use workshop systems
