Civil Labourer

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Civil Labourer to join busy projects across Taupō. Bring your civil site experience, practical skills and strong work ethic to a hands-on role where you’ll be an important part of the crew.


Location: Taupō

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $25–$28 per hour + weekly pay


  • What You’ll Be DoingAssist civil crews with earthworks and site preparation
  • Support drainage, trenching and infrastructure work
  • Move and prepare materials, tools and equipment
  • Use hand and power tools for practical site tasks
  • Work safely around excavators, trucks and other heavy machinery
  • Complete site set-up and general labouring duties
  • Help keep work areas organised and projects moving efficiently
  • What We’re Looking ForPrevious civil construction experience
  • Good understanding of how active civil sites operate
  • Confidence using common hand and power tools
  • Physically fit and capable of completing manual work
  • Strong awareness of site health and safety
  • Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
  • Reliable attitude and ability to work effectively within a crew
