Lead the delivery of a major commercial construction project in Tauranga with a well-established main contractor.

Our client, a leading main contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-value build in Tauranga.


This permanent role offers the opportunity to manage a significant commercial construction project from inception through completion, working within a structured delivery environment and reporting to senior leadership.


The successful candidate will bring substantial project management expertise to a complex project.

  • Lead a major construction project with full responsibility for schedule, budget, and quality outcomes
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across the client, design team, and subcontractors in a regulated environment
  • Permanent position based in Tauranga with exposure to high-profile infrastructure delivery

Preferred Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial construction project management, with proven delivery of complex builds
  • Strong leadership capability, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating subcontractors
  • Proficiency in construction management systems, scheduling software, and cost control methodologies
  • Experience managing high-complexity commercial builds
  • Sound understanding of health and safety compliance, building codes, and contractual obligations in the construction sector

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Current First Aid certification and demonstrated commitment to site safety and compliance
