Job Description

Be the commercial link between one of New Zealand’s best-known dairy manufacturers and a global top-5 dairy company throughout this 18 month fixed term contract. The Account Management Officer of Group Supply has real reach, real ownership and a genuinely global stage - based here in Christchurch.

What you’ll be doing day to day


  • Managing the commercial relationship with Yili business units - the trusted point of contact for their supply of Westland and Oceania Dairy products
  • Owning demand forecasts - keeping accurate, rolling 18-month plans that feed into our Integrated Business Planning process
  • Protecting revenue and margin - hitting volume and price targets and spotting commercial opportunities to add value
  • Coordinating across teams - working with S&OP, operations, quality, logistics and finance to keep every order flowing on time and in full
  • Solving supply challenges - flagging constraints early and aligning stakeholders across two countries to land a result
  • Reporting and contributing - sharing market trends, performance and insights with the Head of Group Supply and Infant Nutrition Sales


What you’ll bring


  • A few years in B2B account management, sales or supply chain - ideally in a fast-moving manufacturing, food or dairy environment
  • Strong commercial and analytical instincts - you’re comfortable with forecasting, margin and performance data, and you turn it into smart decisions
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese - essential, as you’ll work closely with our Yili business units day to day
  • International export experience - you understand how product moves across borders and what it takes to get it right
  • Calm ownership and sharp attention to detail - especially with contracts and agreements - plus the people skills to bring stakeholders with you


Nice to have (but not essential)


  • Exposure to S&OP or Integrated Business Planning best practice
  • Understanding of the wider dairy industry and dairy ingredients
