Remarkable People is on the lookout for reliable, hardworking Rubbish Truck Runners to join a busy waste collection team in the beautiful Coromandel region!


Forget being stuck behind a desk! This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll be out and about, working alongside a great team and helping keep local communities clean throughout the busy summer season.


No experience in waste management? No worries! If you're physically fit, reliable and ready to get stuck in, we want to hear from you!

What's Involved?

  • Collecting and loading rubbish bins onto the truck.
  • Assisting drivers with daily collection routes.
  • Working efficiently to keep collections running smoothly.
  • Following health and safety procedures.
  • Working as part of a team to get the job done.


What We're Looking For Physically fit and strong – this is an active role involving repetitive lifting and plenty of movement.


  • Reliable and punctual – your team needs to know they can count on you!
  • Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
  • A strong focus on teamwork and safety.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.


Previous experience isn't essential – a great attitude and strong work ethic are what matter most!
