Painter

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Painter in Taupō to work across residential and commercial projects. If you have strong preparation skills, an eye for detail and take pride in quality finishes, we want to hear from you!


Location: Taupō, Taupō

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour + weekly pay


  • What You'll Be DoingPrepare surfaces through sanding, filling, scraping and cleaning
  • Complete masking, priming and undercoating before painting
  • Carry out interior and exterior painting across residential and commercial properties
  • Apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers and suitable equipment
  • Deliver smooth, consistent finishes to a high standard
  • Work alongside the team to meet project requirements
  • Maintain clean, organised worksites and follow health and safety procedures
  • What We're Looking ForProven experience in residential or commercial painting
  • Strong surface preparation and finishing skills
  • Confidence using painting tools and equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
  • Airless spraying experience advantageous
  • Reliable, hardworking and committed to workplace health and safety
