Experienced TIG Welder with strong stainless-steel skills?


Put your experience to work with an immediate-start opportunity in Takanini.

We're looking for experienced TIG Welders with a strong background in stainless steel to join an established team in Takanini.

You'll need to be confident producing accurate, high-quality welds and working from engineering drawings and specifications.

This role requires experienced tradespeople who can hit the ground running, with 5+ years of previous TIG welding experience and a current valid welding ticket essential.


Location: Takanini, Auckland

Start date: ASAP

Pay rate: $35.00–$40.00 per hour (Weekly pay)

  • Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless-steel components
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
  • Measure, mark, cut and prepare materials ready for welding
  • Fit, align and assemble components accurately before welding
  • Produce clean, precise welds to required specifications and standards
  • Inspect completed welds and finished work for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain welding equipment and a clean, safe work area
  • What We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years' previous TIG welding experience
  • Strong stainless-steel TIG welding experience
  • Current valid welding ticket – essential
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Competent with welding, fabrication and measuring equipment
  • Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively within a team
