Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver / Civil Labourer to join a busy civil construction crew. This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving with physical labouring and site work.


You won’t just be sitting behind the wheel. We need someone who is happy to jump out of the truck, work alongside the crew and help wherever required.


What you’ll be doing:

Driving Class 2 vehicles

  • Assisting with general civil and labouring duties
  • Supporting operators and ground crews
  • Site preparation, clean-up and other physical tasks
  • Operating machinery where suitably endorsed and experienced
  • Following site Health & Safety requirements
  • Working both day and night shifts
  • Completing stay-away work when required


What we’re looking for:

  • Current Class 2 Driver Licence
  • WTR endorsements are an advantage but not essential
  • Previous civil construction experience is an advantage
  • Physically fit and comfortable completing hands-on labouring work
  • Flexible with working days, nights and varying hours
  • Willing to complete stay-away work when required
  • Reliable and able to work well as part of a crew
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Able to pass a criminal conviction check
