THE COMPANY:


We are currently working with a large Canterbury owned Civil Construction business, with a number of branches across the South Island who are on the hunt for their next long term worker!


THE GIG:


We are looking for multiple Class 4 Drivers for a role starting ASAP based in Rolleston with Road Ranger experience, physical fitness and a willingness to act at times as a Labourer are required. We also have a similar role based out of Hornby, however the Labouring will be slightly different to the below.


The labouring is very limited, and will generally involve basic horticultural skills such as scooping and lifting of debris in to the vehicle. Regular hopping in and out of the vehicle will be required, as will the need to be available for the entire winter season.


In this position, you will be working Monday to Friday, 7am-5/530pm although at times you will be finishing earlier, with some Friday's starting at 5/6am through to 2/3pm.


THE GOODS:


  • $30-32 per hour
  • Full PPE provided
  • Ability to undertake further training and development
  • Down to earth, hardworking team
  • Opportunity to secure a permanent role.

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:


If you have the experience we are looking for and are ready to jump in to a friendly, supportive team - we want to hear from you! You will be successful if the following sounds like you:


  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a similar role.
  • Class 4 or Higher Licence
  • WTR endorsements - ideal but not a necessity
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Can pass a drug screen.
  • Present well and understand you are representing the client on the day.
