Fixed-term contract from late November 2026 to Mid-December 2026


Location: Tasman Village

Wages: $24.00 per hour and contract rates available


We are a small family-run pear and apple orchard in the heart of Tasman Village. We are looking for motivated, hard-working people to work in our apple and pear orchard during the thinning season.


We are looking for people who can:


  1. Climb up and down a ladder at an approximate height of 2.5m for up to 8 to 9 hours a day.
  2. Manually lift between 16 kg and 20 kg as tasks require
  3. Be on their feet for 8 to 9 hours a day, twisting, bending, climbing, walking, and pivoting
  4. Follow health and safety practices including SunSmart Procedures, Standard Operating Systems for Thinning and other practices as appropriate
  5. Commit to working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday and the flexibility to work Saturdays as required
  6. Drive to work


Past work experience is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided.
