Class 4 Driver

Looking for your next civil driving role? We're recruiting an experienced Class 4 Driver to join a leading civil contractor on major infrastructure projects across Queenstown.


Location: Queenstown

Start date: Immediate start available

Pay rate: From $34 per hour (depending on experience) | Weekly pay

  • Your day-to-day will include:Driving Class 4 trucks to transport aggregates, spoil, pipes and construction materials
  • Operating excavators and other civil plant as required
  • Excavating for drainage, utilities, road construction and infrastructure works
  • Trenching, backfilling, loading trucks and site preparation
  • Completing daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
  • Working alongside civil crews to deliver projects safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards on site
  • What you'll need:Full NZ Class 4 Licence
  • Current Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (WTR) endorsement is preferred
  • Proven excavator operating experience in the civil industry
  • Experience in civil construction, drainage, earthworks or infrastructure
  • Ability to work confidently around underground services and heavy machinery
  • Reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to assist the wider crew
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
