About the Role


Working alongside our teaching team, you'll support children with diverse learning needs through their daily routines, play, and learning experiences. You'll help create an inclusive environment where every child can participate, grow, and succeed.


Key responsibilities:


  • Support tamariki with additional learning and behavioural needs
  • Provide quality care and learning experiences
  • Build positive relationships with children, whānau, and teachers
  • Assist across all classrooms and support daily centre operations
  • Cover staff breaks when required


Position Details


  • Fixed Term: August 2026 – December 2026
  • 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday


About You


You don't need an ECE qualification, but experience working with children under five is essential. You'll be patient, proactive, team-focused, and passionate about making a difference in young children's lives.
