Unite Recruit is hiring CIVIL MACHINE OPERATORS to work on a long-term project in the Wellington Region. Apply today!

  • $28 to $38 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Pays weekly
  • Long-term project & Ongoing work

Unite Recruit is hiring CIVIL MACHINE OPERATORS who have proven experience in operating machinery in and around drainage, earthworks, and/or road construction. Pay rate varies depending on experience, and machine.

  • Excavators
  • Loaders
  • Rollers
  • Bulldozers
  • Graders
  • Dump trucks

Successful applicants will have:

  • A current New Zealand Class 2, 4, or 5 Driver Licence (depending on machinery and transport requirements)
  • WTR Endorsements
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating civil construction machinery
  • Experience in drainage, earthworks, or road construction preferred
  • Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and time management skills
