Job Description

Our client is looking for two reliable and hardworking Loader Operators to join their team. We have one Day Shift position and one Night Shift position available, working 6:00am – 6:00pm or 6:00pm – 6:00am on a rotating roster.


This is a hands-on role that offers plenty of variety. You'll be operating heavy machinery, supporting production, carrying out basic maintenance, and assisting with general site duties. There may also be opportunities for additional weekend work when vessels are in port and product is being discharged.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a front-end loader to move and load product.
  • Operate a forklift as required.
  • Screen product to meet quality standards.
  • Carry out routine machinery maintenance, including greasing equipment and completing daily pre-start checks.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential mechanical issues before they become problems.
  • Perform general labouring duties, including shovelling product and sweeping work areas.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience operating a front-end loader is essential.
  • Forklift experience and a current forklift licence (or the ability to obtain one) is highly desirable.
  • Mechanically minded with the ability to identify when machinery is not operating as it should.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role.
  • Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual labour.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
