He angitūtanga / The opportunity:


We are looking for a Cleaning Assistant to join our team at CHT David Lange in Māngere East, Auckland . You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.


This is a permanent part-time position with 16.5 guaranteed hours per week. Being available on weekends is a big plus! Get extra earnings for weekend work.


Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:


  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, staff rooms and lounges
  • Maintain premises, fixtures and fittings to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Use vacuum cleaners and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow established cleaning, hygiene and infection-control procedures
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a welcoming environment
  • Follow all health, safety and company requirements while completing your duties


He kōrero mōu / About you:


  • Previous cleaning experience, ideally within aged care or healthcare
  • A reliable team player with good communication skills
  • A flexible attitude and availability to work weekends
  • Physically fit and able to complete the requirements of the role • Able to work independently and follow safety procedures
  • Willing and able to obtain satisfactory Police Clearance
